Meet Amanda

Amanda Gore
For as long as I can remember I have been talking! A lifelong friend of mine used to call me motor mouth when I was in my teens! Little did he know it was prophetic! LOL I studied physiotherapy and psychology after school and practiced for a few years, then taught at University before... Read more

Hi Everyone - meet James Englund!

He is a VERY talented young man who has generously allowed us to use his wonderful music to accompany a couple of our slide shows on YouTube - we love his music! And his talent.  We asked him to write us a guest blog so that you too can connect with him if you have any studio type needs or can use any of his many talents!

Thanks again James!!  Read more

Die Healthy is the name of a terrific book on wellnes written by Don Ardell (An American) and Dr Grant Donovan (an Aussie).  It outlines steps to a wellness lifestyle and qualities that might be thought provoking for your new year lifestyle 'contemplations'.

If I list some of the points you can think about yourself in relation to the concept and decide if you are 'just right' or could do with a little work in that area! Read more

Why create JOY SPOTS?

Because JOY is the next competitive advantage!

"When people go within and connect with themselves, they realise they are connected to the universe and they are connected to all living things." - Armand Dimele

This is so true - it's so easy to understand and at times so difficult to do - to connect our heads and our hearts.  Read more

The JOY spot - Part 3 - Hope

The Joy Project

I had a chat with a client recently who was telling me that a small country town where the main form of employment (a factory) was shut down, has the highest gambling rate in the country.

Apparently, in a little place where most people are on the dole, they spend on average $220 a week on gambling.

Initially I was stunned but then she said – “because it represents hope for them”. WOW – that thought had not entered my consciousness!

When I stopped and reflected, I could see the truth in that statement.  Read more

Christmas is great if you have toddlers or access to someone else's toddlers that you love! For everyone else the thought of Christmas comes with mixed emotions. Many families relish the idea of everyone getting together and catching up - for about five minutes.

Then the same old things that irritated you all your life start to bug you again - especially since family members often believe they have the right to tell you how to raise your children, run your life, what is wrong with you / and or your spouse, how foolish (or stingy) you are with money, and so on. Sibling rivalry at it's best and fuelled by alcohol - hmmm, a wonderful cocktail! Read more
