We see joy as an iceberg - the largest part of the iceberg is the foundation on which joy is built - the tip is what you see! Joy is bigger than happiness, which is just a small part of the iceberg - most of us think we will be happy WHEN we have something that we don't... Read more

Our Joy blog

Once upon a time, many years ago, I went out with a man called Hugh. (The names have been changed!) During that time I learned a big lesson about how we give others love!  Read more

Some peoples Mojo is so far gone that they’ve forgotten what it is all about, while others have just lost their spark. There are extremes of this condition of ‘my mojo has gone’, but I believe no matter how far away it is the steps are always the same to get it back.  Read more

Welcome to the JOY project

TA DA! to you for finding your way to our JOY Community!

The Joy Project started after Amanda Gore (with some guidance for her lovely mum Lenore Lewis) wrote the book The Gospel of Joy.

Shortly after returning to live in Australia (after 8 years in the USA), Amanda had a recurring feeling that the book was to spark a much bigger ‘thing’ – and kept having inspirations about how it was to be distributed through the web. She read Seth Godin’s book Tribes and had an AH HA moment - to create a global community of joy tribes and bring joy into the world – one tribe at a time!

Soon after this, Amanda met Sheryl Martin who had run a successful business in Perth and was looking for another entrepreneurial venture. The girls immediately clicked and voila! - The Joy Project had a real beginning!

Before meeting Sheryl, Amanda had met Debbi Smith, another amazing woman who works with people to help them spiritually align themselves and their purpose in life. As mentor to The Joy Project, Debbi helps to maintain truth, integrity and pure intent for the founders and all those who come to The Joy Project.

To cut a long story short, and after months of dedicated work! the Joy Project is now a place to find and share joyful ideas, stories and videos that serve as inspiration to everyone.

Our mission... to provide a one stop joy shop - a place to ‘get happy', eradicate fear and find your inner joy.

Joyfully yours,

Amanda and Sheryl
